My name is Peter Aalders and I live in beautiful New Zealand right at the bottom of the South Island not far from the coast so you can find me quite often at the beaches for a stroll or just trying to snap that ‘great’ picture.
My photography started like so many other people started their photography by having my first camera as a teenager and from then on it just evolved into a serious hobby but not quite like a professional but still being able to produce some good work.
My photographs cover a range of subjects from landscape to portraits to close up’s but the bulk is really landscape photography because that’s where my interests are.
New Zealand has plenty opportunity for landscape photography because there are so many beautiful wilderness areas to be explored and photographed.
Australia has also plenty opportunities to shoot some great pics and a few are also on this website.
